No more boring and dull 47+ year old brushed finish look to your Eldorado wheels — this bold Red (Carmine Red, per the Cadillac Dealership book) wheel cover set will bring a lot of life and attention to your wheels. The 1970’s Eldorados had a lot of swag, and therefore demand that the wheels do there fair share to enhance the car. See highly detailed pics. Generally speaking, the “A” & “A/A-” level wheel covers (Excellent / Near Excellent) are prime wheel covers, among the best you can find. They are right around the “Excellent” rating overall since the condition is nearly top notch. They barely have much light wear & tear — and of course Nothing major like dents, curb rashing, bent spokes, broken emblems, etc. This set was recently acquired from a 1978 Eldorado Biarritz that had 39K original miles. They have just about identical visual characteristics – All have great Perimeter Rim & Spokes, and Excellent polished (chrome-look) Crowns — Dent FREE, Rash FREE, and extremely clean. The Red Centers are fully original as from the factory — but what is really special is that I have installed a Gold emblem set on them, making them highly unique and almost breathtaking when seen in person. Quick note on Red color – 2 of them are slightly lighter due to having faced the Arizona sunshine in the driveway over the years. PHOTO CONDITIONS: Various outdoor (late afternoon) locations in sunlight, tree shade and full shade locations. Caddypartz pictures are among the best on eBay! Taken very close up, from all angles, and in colorful high resolution. ~~ Don’t snooze and lose of this fine wheel cover set – it would be nearly impossible to locate another one in this premium condition~! ~~ These wheel covers were test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc….. A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Keep your expectations realistic, this is a set of 50+ year old wheel covers with average use characteristics. ~~ HAVE A SET TO TRADE IN FOR $$? MESSAGE ME! ~~ ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world…..they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo…just the original factory ones.** See my other auctions for more individual 1967-68 Eldorado wheel covers. NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover set! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get them to fit perfect on your steel wheels….especially if you have balancing weights.
