FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT PRIVATE WINDSURFING LESSONS
We provide complimentary windsurfing gear, life jackets, and bottled water. Our customers are welcome to bring any of their own gear to practice with during their lessons.
The lessons are scheduled to begin and end right on time. It’s a good idea to arrive between 15-20 minutes early to give yourself time to park, apply sunscreen, change clothes if needed…, so that you’re ready to go at the appointment time. Parking is free, but it can get crowded. Please do not park in the lifeguard parking spaces.
We teach nearly every age! We have successfully taught people from ages 8 up to 70. We cater the lesson according to your goals and will be sure that you are having an enjoyable experience.
Being a strong swimmer is a plus. If you are just starting to learn to windsurf and aren’t the strongest swimmer, we will require you to wear a life jacket, which will be provided. An instructor will be next to you throughout the lesson.
It’s 1:1. Private lessons are highly personalized with a maximum of one person per lesson.

Yes, a family of up to 6 people can access this package. We lengthen the session to accommodate the extra family members.
The student-to-instructor ratio for group windsurfing lessons is 4:1. Whether everyone is a beginner or of varying skill levels, the instructor will rotate, assisting each student. We assure you that each student will have a personalized experience based on their skill level.

The camp is for ages 9 to 17.
All windsurfing gear is included in the price. However, if someone wants to use their own gear, it is allowed.
The student-to-instructor ratio is 1:3. This is a safe ratio and ensures the personalization needed for successful outcomes and the most enjoyment.
Camp sessions are 3 hours per day. Kids are encouraged to bring their snacks and water, and any medications needed.
