This Kirsten doll lot has been Adult Owned for 30 years! I am the original owner. Kirsten Larson is an original American Girl/Pleasant Company Vintage doll. She is highly sought after by collectors, being from the original American Girl Pleasant company retired collection! She is in great condition, aside from an accident to her left hand that happened on 1989 Christmas morning when new puppy got to her for a spilt second while under the tree. She was very well taken care of, otherwise, and was barley played with, but instead i chose to showcase her on designated shelves alongside My other childhood collectibles. I had several valuable collections and loved doing that as a child…..And still do to this day ….so as a result, she didn’t experience any additional isignificant wear & tear these Last 29yrs. Only other flaw is a hole in one of her knit socks.( these flaws are captured in pictures). I’ve Researched a lot, through all the different selling platforms out there, to determine how to price my listing as accurately and fairly as possible. I found that the furniture accessories alone, often sold in the triple digits incredibly !! And the average going rate, i found, for listings( both sold & new) with same accessories as mine & with original kristen, seem to average roughly somewhere between $900 to $1300 give or take. I did my best to come up with a price that was accurate and fair based on what’s out there!….I’ve reduced price below the lower average due to the injury to her fingertips on left hand, hole in the heel of 1 of knit socks, & not still having original box she came in (although she was new & in her original box when I opened her as a child Christmas day 1988-89). I even researched where to get a professional Appraisal in my area, but Only really found online appraisers which required me to send her out, which I was not comfortable with.
