It has a Stag handle which provides a phenomenal grip and comfort plus they look fantastic, and right now stag has become very hard to get especially in a high grade, the stag used on these knives is a 5 Star Stag which is the best. The Blades are 4116GS German made stainless 1- Clip Point & 1- Spey blade both are very sharp, and 2 3/4″ long with a 2 1/2″ edge. We stopped counting how many were sold now we are just trying to keep them in our inventory. If you like stag handle pocket knives you will love having one of these. So now getting back to this pocket knife please look at how large the stag scales are twice the normal size, and when they first come out the price is low, but if the knife sells quick the price goes up, we have been watching this with all companies, we are at $62.68 delivered to your door now the average selling price is just over $72. and when we place our next order our cost will be higher, so if you like what you see buy one now if you wait you will see a higher cost and we get no joy telling you this we try to keep people informed on what the industry is doing. After 41 years of selling knives I have seen much, in the last two years what I am seeing I do not like, I am not driven by the mighty dollar and sure we need money but I started doing this because I enjoy knives, then I got a dealer license to keep informed most sellers on eBay do not have a license by having one we get info like who is making what and where and with who’s material, remember the cutlery industry works for knife companies not the end user making it hard for the general public to know what is truly happening with the market today. The blades are 4116 High Carbon Steel, or Cutlery Steel which holds its edge longer sharpens easier, The two blades on this knife were made at the Bertram Cutlery Plant in Solingen Germany and this entire knife was then assembled and Hand Made in Germany. We caught what happened and listed all of these separately these last 3 knives are stamped Bertram Cutlery Plant no Spain. Some may have Spain on the blade because that is normally where H & R has them assembled, H & R screwed up letting some of the blades get out of the plant with Spain on the blade before they caught this, and the main reason this happened is H & R is making 7-10 or more brand new pocket knives with this blade 212 series of Clip Blade, Red Bone, Green Bone, Brown Bone, stag, & Walnut Wood all brand new we have them all listed now or ordered & on their way. We will tell you if we get anymore of the Spain etched blades, please know these are assembled in Germany again we try to keep people informed on what is happening and this you should know, The Bolsters are Nickle Silver and the Pins and Liners are Brass, also on one side of the knife is the Logo embedded in the handle.
