The system is Japan region-locked, meaning it is not compatible with US 3DS games. It will not read or play them. It can only play Japanese 3DS games. The system menu’s language is also in Japanese only with no option to switch to English.* Item Description- This New 3DS LL has been tested and all functions of the system are working without issue. However, please note that the system has a minor screen issue. The top screen has white “spots” on the left side. They were difficult to photograph, but you can see them in photos #7-8 (denoted with an arrow in photo #8). I would not consider this to be a particularly distracting issue during gameplay, but the spots are noticeable- The screen configuration is bottom TN, top IPS- The system has scratches, scuffs, & wear from use. There is also peeling / deterioration to the paint mainly on the top side as shown in the photos.
