A lighter, easier-to-handle Windsurfer LT rig that’s ideal for newer sailors, lighter-weight sailors, and many women getting started with their own Windsurfer LT equipment.

The 4.5 gives you the Windsurfer LT experience in a much more manageable package than the standard 5.7. The smaller sail is easier to uphaul, easier to control, and less intimidating while you’re developing your technique and confidence.

For many of the women we teach at Mike’s Windsurfing, this is the sail size we recommend as a first LT rig. Instead of struggling with more sail than you need, the 4.5 lets you concentrate on sailing, tacking, jibing and simply having fun on the water.

It’s also a great choice for lighter-wind recreational sailing when ease of handling is more important than maximum sail power.

These 4.5 Windsurfer LT rigs are extremely difficult for us to get consistently. We waited a long time for this shipment, received only 6, and currently have just 4 remaining.

Once these are sold, we cannot guarantee when we’ll be able to get more.
