Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE VINTAGE 2010 NTHCS CONVENTION LOTTON ART GLASS BLUE KING TUT TOOTHPICK HOLDER A beautiful piece of American studio made art glass in the form of a lovely little toothpick holder. It is a quality piece of blown glass and was made by Master Glass Artisan Charles Lotton, who sadly passed away in 2021. Charles created this toothpick holder for the 2010 NTHCS (National Toothpick Holder Collectors’ Society) convention in a very limited number. The glass is made in a swirled “King Tut” pattern of what appear to me to be 2 different shales of cobalt blue. The toothpick holder was then further decorated with an iridescent finish to the glass. This gives the piece a bit of a “carnival glass” look that is a bit reminiscent of the Steuben Glass “Blue Aurene” color and has some fuchsia highlights. It is factory ground and polished on the foot so it sits flat and level. The piece in my photos is the actual item you will receive. This piece has been part of my personal toothpick holder collection since 2010. Please be sure to read the “Age and Condition” & “Approximate Dimensions” paragraphs below.It is a beautiful example of this toothpick holder and is clearly etched/scratch signed “Charles Lotton NTHCS 2010” on the bottom. It is gorgeous as you can see from the photos! Age and ConditionThis piece dates to circa 2010. It is in pristine mint condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines, or repairs to the glass, and no visible signs of use or wear – see my photos. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
